Public information. When a certificate is checked on our verification page, it shows the holder's first name, the initial of the last name, the level and the month and year of issue. A specialist listing shows only what the specialist chose to publish.
6. International transfers
Some of our providers are based in the United States. You can ask our DPM for a copy of the safeguards.
7. How long we keep it
- Account and learning data: as long as your account is open, then 2 years after your last sign-in.
- Certificates and their numbers: for as long as the certificate may be verified, because it protects you and your clients.
- Exam videos: 12 months after our decision on the exam.
- Requests from our forms that did not lead to a booking: 24 months after the last contact.
- Transaction data: 6 years after the purchase, for tax and accounting.
- Photo and video consent records: as long as we use the materials, and 3 years after that.
- Server logs: 12 months.
After these periods we delete the data or make it anonymous.
8. Your rights
You have the right to:
- get a copy of your personal data
- correct it
- have it deleted
- restrict or object to its use
- receive it in a machine-readable format and pass it to another provider
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what was done before
- complain to a data protection authority, for example the one in the EU country where you live
You can correct your profile, download your data and delete your account yourself in your cabinet, under Profile. For anything else, write to our DPM. It is free of charge. We reply within one month and may ask you to confirm your identity first.
9. Security
Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes, all pages are served over an encrypted connection, and access to the admin area is limited to named staff with individual permissions. Every change made in the admin area is recorded. If a data breach puts your rights at risk, we will tell you and the competent authority as the law requires.
